#1. How to cancel
Email sales@vevarte.com, message WhatsApp on +92 300 7512464, or call +92 300 7512464. Give the order number, or the phone number the order was placed with. The cancellation takes effect from the moment your message reaches us, not from when we get round to reading it — so send it as soon as you decide, even at two in the morning.
We confirm every cancellation in writing, stating what is refunded and when. If you do not get that confirmation within one working day, assume it has not reached us and call.
#2. Stocked pieces
| When you cancel | Charge | Refund |
|---|---|---|
| Within 24 hours of confirmation | None | Everything, including delivery |
| Any time before the delivery vehicle is loaded | None | Everything, including delivery |
| After loading, before arrival | The delivery charge for that zone | The full price of the goods |
| On arrival, refused at the door | The delivery charge, plus the collection charge in the Returns Policy | The price of the goods, less those charges |
| After delivery | Treated as a return — see the Returns & Refunds Policy | — |
#3. Made-to-order, commissioned and bespoke pieces
A commission is drawn for your room, cut from timber selected for it, and finished to a stain you chose. At each stage it becomes less sellable to anybody else, and the charges below track that reality rather than punishing a change of mind.
| Stage reached | Charge | What happens to the deposit |
|---|---|---|
| Before you approve the drawing | None | The full 50% deposit is returned |
| Drawing approved, materials not yet ordered | Rs 5,000 toward drawing time | The balance of the deposit is returned |
| Materials ordered, cutting not begun | The cost of materials committed, evidenced with supplier invoices | The remainder is returned |
| Cutting or upholstery begun | 25% of the order value, or the actual cost incurred if lower | Applied to the charge; anything above it is returned |
| Piece complete, awaiting delivery | The order cannot be cancelled. It can be delivered, or held | Held against the balance |
We will always tell you which stage a commission has reached before applying a charge, and we will show you the evidence — the supplier invoice, the photograph of the cut components. Where a piece turns out to be sellable after all, we will sell it and refund you what we recover, less the costs of doing so. That is not an obligation we owe you. It is what we do.
#4. When we cancel
We may cancel an order before delivery if the piece has been sold or damaged, if a listed price or description was materially wrong, if the timber or fabric specified is genuinely unobtainable, if delivery to the address is not possible, or if payment cannot be verified.
When we do, you get a full refund of everything paid within seven working days, an explanation of what happened, and — where the cause was our error rather than circumstance — the nearest alternative at the price you were originally quoted, even where that costs us money.
#5. Changing an order instead of cancelling
Changing the fabric, the stain, the dimensions or the delivery address is usually easier than cancelling and reordering, and often free. Before production starts there is no charge for a change. After it starts, a change is priced as the cost of the work already done plus the new work, and we quote it before doing anything.
A delivery address can be changed free up to 24 hours before the delivery window, anywhere within the same zone.
