Ahsan Raza Khokhar is a practising architect and the journal is written from that practice. That is precisely why this section exists: the writing is more specific than most furniture-shop content, and specificity invites reliance.
An article about sizing a sofa, fixing a bookcase, or the loads a mezzanine will take is general guidance written without seeing your building. It is not architectural, structural, engineering, electrical or legal advice, no professional relationship arises from reading it, and no duty of care is assumed toward a project we have not been engaged on.
Anything touching structure, fixings into a wall of unknown build-up, load-bearing elements, electrical work or building regulations needs a qualified professional who has visited the site. #3. Product information, colour and availability
- Colour. Screen rendering varies with display, calibration and ambient light, and the same finish looks different under Lahore daylight and under warm interior lamps. Order a physical sample for anything where the exact tone matters. They are free within Lahore.
- Dimensions. Stated to the nearest centimetre with the tolerances given in the Terms of Sale. Measure your doors, stairs and lift before committing to a large piece.
- Natural materials. Grain, veining, leather markings and hand-applied finish vary between pieces. That is the material behaving as it should.
- Availability. Stock indicators are as accurate as we can make them and can be overtaken by a showroom sale. A page is not a guarantee that a piece is still there.
- Lead times. Estimates in good faith. Commissions depend on timber supply, workshop load and finishing conditions — humidity genuinely delays lacquer — and we tell you as soon as we know a date has moved.
#4. Reviews, testimonials and results
Reviews are the honest opinion of the people who wrote them and are published as they came in — see the Reviews & User Content Policy for how they are verified and moderated. One person's experience is not a promise of yours.
Where a room in a photograph was styled or designed by us, we say so. Where a photograph is a stock image standing in for our own photography, it is not being presented as our workshop or a delivered commission.
